浅谈模糊汉诗的英译

模糊美是中国古诗语言的一大特点。翻译家在英译模糊的汉诗语言时甚感困难。本文分析了中外翻译名家英译中国古诗的不同译本，通过比较得出明确的结论：在英译模糊汉诗的时候．译语不能同样模糊。翻译家要尽力传达原诗的“意美”、“音美”和“形美”，并把正确传达原诗的意美放在第一位。诗歌英译的关键在于传达出原诗所要表达的真实内容。“知之”、“好之”和“乐之”是读者欣赏译文的三种：不同反映，也是翻译家不断追求使原文不断精益求精的三个标准。

A Study on the Ambiguous English Translation of Chinese Poems

Ambiguous beauty is one of the characteristics of Chinese poetry language.It is very difficult for a translator to render ambiguous language of Chinese poetry into English.This paper analyzes different English versions of Chinese poetry from some famous Chinese and foreign translators.Through contrast and comparison,one clear conclusion is to be drawn: When rendering an ambiguous Chinese poem into English,the translation must be unambiguous.Therefore a translator ought to do the best to convey the beauty of sense,sound,and form of the original poem in translating ambiguous Chinese poem into English and,putting his priority on expressing the beauty sense of the original.The most important in poetry English translation is to convey the real content that the original poem intends to express.For a reader,there are three different responses enjoying a poem,namely,comprehension,appreciation and admiration,which also are three different standards for a translator to pursue endlessly in order to make her/his translation perfect.
