Industrial Clusters: Strategic Choice of Anhui Province to Upgrade Its Industrial Competitive Power

Industrial clusters can improve the overall industrial competitive power,exploit better the resources and enhance the innovative ability of an area or enterprise.As is known,Anhui province is characteristic of low industrial structure level,weak economic flexibility and adaptability,and lack of industrial clusters.Therefore,the fast development of industrial clusters in Anhui can in a sense promote the industrial competitive power of the province.The paper points out that Anhui province should give priority to its advantageous industries,such as the manufacturing of cars and their accessories,mechanical equipment manufacturing industry,etc,develop the Hefei-Ma'anshan-Wuhu city cluster as a base of industrial clusters,strengthen the construction of its basic facilities,and improve its development environment so as to accelerate the formation of the industrial clusters of Anhui province and promote its industrial competitive power.
