An analysis of a special character in The Scholars |

| Abstract: | The image of Wang Yuhui in the novel of The Scholars was related with the realistic life. The creation of the character reflected the author’s recognition of society. This character experienced five stages of affirmation, hesitation, negation, exposition and returning to the tradition, and each stage reflects features of the specific periods. To explore the image of this character will provide readers some food for thought. |
