| Abstract: | The grand development of western China is going on vigorously, and some economic indexes in the west have caught up with or even o vertaken those in the east. With this background, the paper has made a substanti ve comparison of differences in regional economy between the west and the east. The reasons behind have been disclosed and suggestions for the revitalization of the regional economy in the west have been offered. |
