| Abstract: | This paper expounds the origin of various Meishan Wug on g cultures by means of the analysis of documents, on-the-spot investigation and personal interviews. The above-mentioned cultures have nothing but the sublimati on of the life in fishing and hunting, the grafting of military wrestle, the mer ging of religious sacrifice, the mixing of immigration customs, the fostering of witch dJulors and herbal medicine which may all provide the basis for the comb ination of theory with practice in a further research on Meishan cultures. |
