This essay goes through the eight novels of Tony Morrison,and centers around how the writer develops her consciousness of the element capital and how capital influences the characters in these novels.The first stage is characterized by the stereotype of capitalist and capital and displays the brutality of the ruling class.In the second stage of her works,she depicts another side of capitalists,tainted with a humanism spirit.The last stage penetrates into the differences between the white and black capitalists and the writer presents "love" as a remedy to the trauma of capital.
