| 摘 要： | 从1690年到今天,美国的城市化经历了三个发展阶段,即酝酿期、初步完成期、郊区化时期。美国城市化不同于其它国家城市化的个性特征比较明显,主要表现在内生的自我发展、跳越性、流动性。美国城市化的一般规律对我国城市化发展有一定的借鉴意义。

| Abstract: | The American urbanization process falls into three stages from 1690 to present time: pre-urbanization, practical completion of the urbanization, and suburbanization. Endogensis, paroxysmal and liquidity are the three distinctive features of the American urbanization process, from which some general rules can be drawn to facilitate the urbanization process in China. |
