性别视角与上海都市文化研究

上世纪八九十年代以来,与新文化史研究的兴起相伴随,女性主义、性别研究等以往处于边缘位置的方法/理论日益作为知识生产的重要部分,介入到对包括上海研究在内的历史文化的解说中去。性别视角的分析凸显了作为现实力量和象征关系的性别在现代上海形成中的作用,尤其是在大众文化和炫耀性消费等都市文化生产中的意义,以及与国族想象的纠葛。在中国前所未有的变局中,不仅女性很大程度成了人们追寻现代性的途径或试金石,社会的变革和现代化也不能不牵涉影响到男性形象的革命及其他。将性别纳入到上海都市文化的研究中来,能够更多地把握到它的历史构成和相关特点,或演变的"关键",提供人们新的"看现代中国"的方法或路径。

Gender Perspective and the Study of Shanghai Urban Culture

Accompanied by the rise of the new cultural history study,feminism and gender studies,etc,which were on the edge of theory studies,are involving in the history culture studies that include Shanghai studies as an increasingly important part of knowledge production since 1980s and 1990s.The analysis of gender perspective highlights the effect of gender which acts as reality power and relationship symbol.in the formation of modern Shanghai society,especially the significance in the production of popular culture and conspicuous consumption,as well as the entanglement with the nation image.In the unprecedented change of China,women become a touchstone of modernity pursuit.Also,the social change and modernization can impact the revolution of male images and others.By getting gender study into the study of the Shanghai urban culture,we can learn its historical constitution and related characteristics,or the key of change,providing people new method or way of observing modern China.
