| 摘 要： | 历史时期的洪洞、赵城两县,因霍泉之利、旱灾之扰而长期存在着水神信仰,承载者就是霍山脚下的霍泉水神庙——明应王庙,从唐代建庙以来,一直受到由官府到百姓的正式崇祀,发挥着祈求风调雨顺、维护水利秩序、实施有效社会控制等方面的功能。

| Abstract: | Due to the benefit of Huo spring and the disasters of drought,there was the belief in water god in Hongtong and Zhaocheng counties in history.The symbol of this belief has been the Water God Temple,or Ming Yingwang Temple,for the Huo Spring at the foot of Mt.Huoshan.Ever since its construction in Tang Dynasty,the temple has been offered sacrifices by local civilian and ancient governments.This belief played religious and social functions in praying for rains,in maintaining irrigation order,in the implementation of efficient social control. |
