A Hard Journey to Dawn and Freedom--On the intellectual female figures in Ai, Shi Buneng Wangji De, Fangzhou and Zumulv

Zhang Jie, a female writer, focuses on examining and thinking the inside of women, which is different from "May 4" literature. The latter centers on analysing and caring the outside of women to express the awaking of female consciousness. Among many of her works, the intellectual female figures in Ai, Shi Buneng Wangji De, Fangzhou and Zumulv all together express Zhang Jie's publication of women liberation and female consciousness, and present the depth and unity of her thoughts on female problems.
