| Abstract: | The stable growth of iron and steel industry relies heavily on technological innovations and the resultant total cost leadership. This paper investigates the total cost leadership strategy and necessary conditions. In light of the characteristics of iron-making industry, the paper analyzes pig iron-making cost and discusses how to carry out technological innovation in iron-making industry to secure total cost leadership. |
