从吉尔的口译模式看商务英语口译能力要素的构成

商务英语口译是在商务活动中涉及的以连续传译方式为主的口译行为。作为一种口译行为,其能力的构成离不开口译活动的基本要求。著名的口译研究学者Daniel Gile所提出的＂口译理解公式＂和＂连续传译的精力分配模式＂很好的阐述了连续传译译员应具备的能力。本文从该视角探讨商务英语口译能力的基本要素。商务英语口译能力的构成与一般连续传译一样,其要素包括智力素质（语言知识、非语言知识、口译技能）和非智力素质（心理素质、身体素质和职业素质）。其中,商务知识作为非语言知识的一部分对商务口译能力的构成具有至关重要的作用。

On the Composition of Interpreting Qualifications in Business Settings from the Model of Daniel Gile

Business interpreting is interpreting involved in all business settings,and consecutive interpreting is mainly adopted on most of the occasions.In such kind of interpreting activity,business interpreters＇ competence is almost of the same with that required of general interpreters.Yet more requirements may lay upon the business interpreters.Based on Gile＇s Comprehension Formula of interpreting and Effort Model for consecutive interpreting,this paper has tried to discuss the kind of qualifications a business interpreter should have in order to do interpretation successfully in business settings.Business knowledge as extra-linguistic knowledge is an important part of interpreting competence in business setting.
