语言象似性的认知研究

摘    要:象似性是认知语言学的一个重要课题,是语言相对于任意性的另一个基本特征.象似性研究对了解语言和认知的关系意义重大.人类认知积极参与人认识客观世界的过程,所以语言不是直接反映客观世界,而是反映人的头脑在认识客观世界的过程中形成的各种概念或概念结构.通过从词汇、句法的角度进行象似性研究,能够较清楚地认识认知在语言规则中所起的重要作用.

Abstract:Iconicity,as a basic feature of linguistic symbols in contrast to arbitrariness,has become a major subject in the cognitive study of language,which plays a significant role in the exploration of the relation between language and cognition.Because of the active participation of human cognition in the process through which humans understand the objective world,language does not reflect the objective world directly.Instead,it reflects the various conceptions and conceptive structures that are constructed in the brain when humans are trying to interpret the outside world.Through a study on the iconicity at the lexical and syntactical levels,we may get a clearer understanding of the important role of cognition in linguistic rules.
