中美消费模式与条件的比较分析

改革开放 20 多年来,中国经济持续高速发展,经济规模迅速扩大,虽然人均国内生产总值才仅有 1000 多美元,但是巨大的贫富差距却使上千万富裕人口的实际消费能力达到甚至超过了美国人的平均水平。因此,国民中崇尚美国的消费方式,认同与追求消费主义生活方式的人日益增多。为此,让国民了解美国人的消费模式,以及支撑该种消费模式的物质基础、资源环境代价,从而引导国民根据中国的国情选择一种适合自己的适度消费模式,对于中国经济与社会的可持续发展是非常重要的。本文的目的就在于此。

Comparative Analysis on Consumption Mode and Condition between China and America

For more than 20 years of adoption of reform and opening policy, Chinese economy has developed continuously at a high speed and the economic scale has expanded swiftly. Although China's per capita GDP is just above $1000, the huge revenue gap has made millions of rich people able to reach or even surpass American's average level of real purchase power. Therefore, more and more Chinese citizens adore American's consumption pattern, and they appreciate and pursue the life style of consumerism. Accordingly, it is very important to make the Chinese consumers know more about American's consumption way, the supporting material base and the cost of resources and environment. Thus Chinese citizens can be guided to select a moderate and adaptive consumption mode according to China's situation for the sustainable development of Chinese economy and society. That is the object of this paper.
