摘    要:中国学生的智力开发水平并不低,但却一直与诺贝尔奖无缘。通过分析美国教育中强调创新能力培养的主旨、探讨创新概念的内涵,说明中国学生所欠缺的是创新能力和创新精神。因此,全社会应共同努力构建创新教育体系。

Abstract:Although the intellectual developing level of the Chinese student is not low, they have not the chance or luck to get Nobel prize. By analyzing the substance of the emphasis on fostering in-novative ability in American education, and exploring the connotation of innovative concept, this pa-per points out that Chinese students are lacking in both innovative ability and spirits. As a result, the whole society should make joint efforts to establish an innovative education system.
