| Abstract: | Application of the composite foundation of cement-soil mixing piles to deep soft subgrade treatment under the abutment of highway bridge was introduced.Strengthening soft soil subgrade was analyzed via a practical engineering.The results show that the technique of strengthening soft soil subgrade using cement-soil mixing piles is available for preventing the larger jump of vehicles at the intersection between highway and bridge due to settlement of bridge abutment. |
