论高校档案的教育功能

以实物和声像为载体的高校教学、科研以及校史档案是学校发展的真实记录,是对广大师生以及社会人士进行德育智育教育的良好素材.但是,由于对档案教育功能认识不够、相关职能部门配合不够密切以及档案队伍不够稳定等多方面因素的制约,档案教育功能不能得到很好的发挥.高校档案部门必须采取有效的措施,树立档案文化形象,建立档案陈列室,利用网络技术,制作专题教学片,以此来促进高校档案教育功能的发挥.

On Educational Function of Archives in Colleges and Universities

Archives are real records of the teaching and academic activities and the history of a college or university, thus they are the best materials of moral and intellectual education to teachers and students and even to people off the campus. Unfortunately, the educational function of archives has not been given a full play to, due to misconceptions towards it, lack of a close cooperation among departments concerned, and instability of the management staff. Therefore, effective measures have to be taken by archives in colleges and universities to establish the cultural image of archives. These measures may include setting up exhibition rooms of files, utilizing the Internet technology, making educational films, etc., so that archives can function best in educating people.
