Revelation on Humanized Cities from European Experience Based on Sustainable Principles

Under the background of rapid urbanization in China, the disorder of city expansion, as well as lacking of humanized places and social fair and justice, people almost forget the primary purpose of the town is to guarantee the human and community needs. It is the key to achieve a more energetic, safe, sustainable and healthy city through searching for a way which is based on sustainable criteria with the humanized concerns. This paper focuses on strategies and lessons of practices from humanized cities in Europe, with a view to China’s construction of humanized and sustainable urban construction.
