古典小说与园林之研究述评

古典园林作为一类意象频繁出现在中国各类文学体裁中,园林艺术在其漫长的发展历程中与文学结下了不解之缘,其中古典小说对园林的展现最为详尽细致.有关两者之间的关系研究起步于上个世纪80年代,前期阶段集中在园林空间与小说叙事研究上,其实质是对小说空间叙事的延伸.之后转向对小说中的园林意象与园林文化的研究上,并以此来对作品进行更深入地解读.

A Review of the Studies of the Classical Novels and Garden

In the long development course, Chinese classical garden has close relationship with literature. Chi-nese classical gardens have display in various literary genres. The garden in the classical novel is the most detailed and the most complete. The relation research started in the 1980s. Early stage of the research focused on landscape space and the novel narrative, the essence of which is the extension of space of fiction narration. Then the study turns to the landscape image and culture of the novel, and to work for a more in - depth interpretation.
