| 摘 要： | 从国内外有关研究资料对于《奥瑟罗》评论的主流看 ,伊阿古当然是剧中的反角 ,因为他被认为是造成悲剧的元凶 ,同时他还象疯狗似的作恶 ,几乎害到所有的剧中人。奥瑟罗则被看成富有崇高思想、具有巨人精神的英雄形象。到底谁是真正的反角 ,澄清这一问题 ,对于准确理解莎翁的创作意图 ,正确评价这部戏对于观众、读者乃至社会的作用 ,都是至关重要的。

| Abstract: | It seems to be the consensus of the mainstream crtical literature,both at home and abroad,that Iago is the natural villain in the play Othello,because he has been regarded all along as the prime culprit for the tragedy,let alone the evilthings that he has done to nearly all the others in the play,Othello,definitely,is the humanistic hero with lofty ideals.Who on earth did Shakespeare intednd to be the villain?The clarification of the question will be crucial for a correct interpretation of the playwright's subjective purpose and the play's objective impact upon the reading public as a whole. |
