英语教学中文化意识的培养

不同的国家有不同的文化,来自不同文化背景的人们的世界观和价值观也是有差异的.这种文化差异性有可能让跨文化交际变得很困难,甚至在有些情况下会使得这种交际无法进行下去,这是因为有时话语的意思不是由说话人所说出的词语来决定的,而是由听话人来决定的.所以,对自身文化和目的语文化的意识在跨文化交际中就显得尤为重要.

On Cultivating Cultural Awareness in English Teaching

Different countries have different cultures and the people with different cultural backgrounds have different world outlooks and values.Thus,cultural diversity may make intercultural communication very difficult and in some cases utterly impossible,because sometimes the meaning of the parole is determined not by the speaker but by the listener.Hence,the cultivating of cultural awareness,either in the receiving culture or in the source culture,is becoming very important in intercultural communication.
