王安石晚年与变法

王安石第二次罢相后，退居金陵，表面上远离了朝廷的变法活动，实际上，他著书立说，为变法制造舆论、寻找理论根据；他致书吕惠卿，维护变法派内部的团结；他接待苏轼，希望以自己的高尚人格改变苏轼对变法派人物的看法。他时时关心变法，处处维护变法，为变法事业真正做到了鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已。

Wang Anshi 's Old Age and Political Reform

After he was secondly dismissed from prime minister, Wang Anshi came back to Nanjing, apparently he got away from the political reform of the court but zealously seeking academic foundation and wrote papers for his political with. He wrote to Lu Huiqing and others for holding all his comrades together. He contacted with Su Shi to try to change his opinion on political reform. He did his best to the political reform until he died.
