从心性儒学走向政治儒学——论当代新儒学的另一发展路向

当代新儒学在弘扬民族文化,发扬民族精神上作出了巨大的贡献,但也存在着严重的问题,即未能开出新外王。当代新儒学要开出新外王就必须走出心性儒学,在儒学的大传统中寻找另外一条发展路向,这就是政治儒学。政治儒学是儒学传统中的经学——春秋公羊学,其特征就是解决政治问题,是儒学传统中的外王之学。本文力图证明从心性儒学走向政治儒学不仅是时代的必然要求,也是当代新儒学在理路上应有的发展。当代新儒学只有走向政治儒学,才能开出新外王,克服儒学在当代遇到的最大危机与挑战。

From Ideological Confucianism to Political Confucianism

The contemporary new confucianism has been making a huge contribution to carryingforward the national culture and the national spirit.However,it has also got its ownproblem,the failure to open a new external domain.Tn order to set up its own new domain,the new confucianism must walk out of the confinement of ideological confucia-nism and search for another approach to development within the grand range of thetradition of confucianism.And this approach is political confucianism,or the GongyangZi branch of confucanism,one of the classic branches of the traditional confucianismand an established traditional confucianist branch characterized by practical solution ofpolitical issues.This essay is an effort to prove that the progress from ideological confu-cianism to political confucianism is not only the necessity of the times but also a rationalgrowth of the contemporary new confucianism on the rational road.This is the only wayto achieve new external domain and to overcome the maximum crisis and chanllege conf-ronted by confucianism.
