| 摘 要： | 文章以林语堂译<浮生六记>为研究对象,从诺德提出的"文献型翻译"和"工具型翻译"的角度,分析诗句和成语俗语的翻译特征.文献型翻译较多地保留了原文的语言和文化特征; 而工具型翻译以更易于译文读者理解的方式增强了译文的可读性.译文中两种方法综合体现、相得益彰,在确保译文与英语读者的认知理念不相冲突的同时,较为有效地传播了中国文化.

| Abstract: | From a perspective of Nord's documentary translation and instrumental translation,this paper analyzes the translation characteristics of quoted verses and proverbs in Lin Yutang's translation of Six Chapters of A Floating Life.Documentary translation keeps more characteristics of the original language and culture,while instrumental translation obviously offers its renders more readable translation.To prevent any misunderstanding among target language readers,both of the methods wonderfully complement each other in Lin's translation to introduce Chinese culture in an effective way. |
