| 摘 要： | 《红字》是美国浪漫主义小说家纳撒尼尔.霍桑的代表作,是他对女性主义矛盾态度的体现,但通过从女性主义的视角来审视《红字》的翻译时,发现译者潜意识中男性中心主义思想的长期影响,使得其译著中的许多女性形象受到种种有意或无意地扭曲,逐渐沦落为男性中心主义所建构的固定女性形象,最终被建构成了男性的“他者”。

| Abstract: | The Scarlet Letter is the representative work of the American romantic novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne,and also the reflection of his contradictory attitude towards feminism.But through analyzing its translations from the feministic perspective,the original female images are found to be distorted consciously or unconsciously in the translations due to the profound effect of male supremacy on the translators and are finally constructed as the fixed female images according to male supremacists. |
