| Abstract: | Language and thinking are closely interrelated. Chinese thinking patterns differ from those of English; therefore, ideas are expressed in different ways in the two languages. The course of translation from English to Chinese is the course of transformation not only in language forms but also in thinking patterns. So it is necessary to make an analysis of the thinking patterns' differences between Chinese and English. |
