文学与政治之间——唐玄宗朝翰林学士述论

作为固定的使职差遣,唐翰林学士确定于唐玄宗朝。它经历了文学侍从、翰林待诏、翰林供奉和翰林学士等几个阶段。玄宗朝翰林学士的中枢政局定位尚欠明确,运行体制亦不完善,所以它的政治作用未能完全发挥,政治地位也不稳定,对其他政治权力有较强的依附性。玄宗朝翰林学士的入选与开天之际重用文学之士有密切关系。由于身处枢密机要之地,兼以文词之士出身,翰林学士成为盛唐文士投献诗文的重要对象。众多优秀文学家因此云集京城,令开天时期京城的文学创作呈现出多元风格,衍生出丰富的文学现象。翰林学士在客观上促成开天时期京城诗人群体审美趣味的汇聚、整合与形成。翰林学士是开天时期文词之士进阶仕途的重要渠道。

Between Literature and Politics——a general account of Hanlin Scholars in the Xuanzong Period

As a fixed system, Hanlin Schoalrs were established in the Xuanzong Period (712-756)in the Tang Dynasty.It has gone through several phases like Literature Attendants,Hanlin Daizhao,Hanlin Gongfeng and Hanlin Scholars.The political positioning of Hanlin Scholars in the Xuanzong Period(712-756) was not definite and the functioning system was not sound.Therefore,its political functions were not fully executed and its social position was not stable.Besides,the selection of qualified Hanlin Scholars in the Xuanzong Period(712-756) was much related to the phenomenon that literature scholars were put in a key position.As they were in a confidential and significant place and of literature scholar origin,they became the targets to whom the scholars in the Prosperous Period of Tang Dynasty(618-755) presented poems and articles.Many outstanding literates gathered in the capital for this reason and the literature creation in the capital in the Kaiyuan Period(713-741) had taken on a diverse style,generating abundant literature phenomena.Hanlin Scholars objectively had generated and prompted the convergence,combination and formation of group aesthetic tastes of poets in the Capital.Hanlin Scholars were a significant channel through whom the literates and scholars could start their political career and get promoted.
