IF条件分句中V-ed的语法意义认知研究

摘    要:动词过去时态的语法标记式“v-ed”原来的语法意义为表逆时针方向的时间距离,IF假设条件分句中的“v-ed”通过隐喻模式,在从时间域到真值判断域的投射过程中获得了新的语法意义,即“真实性距离”,而此新的语法意义与假设条件句的命题意义毫无二致。

Abstract:The original gram m atical m eaning carried by the gram m atical m arker of the past tense v-ed is rem oteness in tim e. In hypothetical conditional if-clauses, the gram m atical m arker of the past tense v-ed acquires the new gram m atical m eaning rem oteness in objective reality during the source-to-target dom ain m apping process from the dom ain of tim e to the dom ain of predictive reality. T he new gram m atical m eaning is in agreem ent w ith the propositional m eaning of the hypothetical condition.
