| Abstract: | Nineteen Ancient Poems is representative of the Five-Character-Poem created by later Han Dynasty literary men in the situation of political corruption and decline of Confucian classics.These poems truly showed the state and soul of the later Han Dynasty literary men in lower social strata and expressed their innermost world after suffering all the hardship and their deep and thorough analysis of the nature of life.The skills of writing about the real emotion,deep and sad feeling in these poems showed their artistic value and ideologies,and set a precedent for the awaking of the literature in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. |
