| 摘 要： | 通过比较《中国日报》中美专栏作家九大主要情态动词的使用频率以及三大类别的语义分布情况,试图分析中国高水平英语使用者与英语本族语者使用情态动词表达观点与态度的异同,从而为英语学习者在英语阅读与写作中更加准确精当地理解与使用情态动词提供一定的参考。

| Abstract: | By comparing both frequencies and semantic distributions of nine major modal verbs used by Chinese and American columnists in China Daily,the present paper tries to analyze the similarities and differences between Chinese advanced English users and English native speakers in expressing their opinions and attitudes,so as to provide an insight into the accurate and appropriate comprehension and use of English modal verbs for English learners in their English reading and writing respectively. |
