“古今之争”与美学现代性

摘    要:"古今之争"对于美学现代性的贡献主要在于:首先是佩罗和丰特奈尔确立了艺术与科学的分界,从而初步论述了艺术的自律地位;其次是认识到了趣味的相对性,因而为现代人的创造性做了有力的辩护。美学现代性能够在18世纪最终确立,在此之前的"古今之争"功不可没。

Abstract:The Quarrel between the ancients and moderns contributed a lot to aesthetic modernity.First,Charles Perrault and Fontenelle established the division between the art and the science,and roughly dealt with the autonomy of the art.Secondly,some French scholars realized that the relativity of taste,thus defending the creativity of the moderns.The Quarrel between the ancients and the moderns played a significant role in the formation of aesthetic modernity in the 18th century.
