History of Change of Japan＇s Higher Education System after World War II and Its transform in 21st Century

Since World War Ⅱ Japan,a developed country,has built up a proper sound higher education system,after a series of reforms in the light of its own characteristics.This higher education system includes both an advanced curriculum and a related evaluation system,which contributes to Japan’s world-class level in science and technology,in production research and develop,and provides a continuous power for Japan’s economic development.This paper analyzes Japan’s higher education reform after World War Ⅱ and in the 21st century,seeking enlightenments to China’s higher education.
