国民革命引发的近代中国最大一次以农民为主体的乡土社会动员,给民粹主义提供了一个理想的实验场;盲目崇拜农民,从小生产者的立场出发否定地主土地所有制和封建财产私有制,运动贫苦农民对乡土社会进行激进改革,是湖南农民运动民粹主义思想潜流的重要表征;涌动于乡土社会动员中的民粹主义是农民运动和国民革命失败的主观原因之一。

An Analysis of the Populist Factors for the Failure of the National Revolution--A Case Study of Hunan Peasant Movements

The biggest mobilization of the rural society in China induced by the National Revolution gave an ideal opportunity for populism. Blind peasant worship, denial of feudalistic private-wealth ownership and land ownership from the position of the small producer, and radical reform of the needy peasants in the rural society make up important characteristics of undercurrent populism of the Hunan Peasant Movements. Populism, which emerged in the mobilization of the rural society, was one of the subjective reasons for the failure of both the Peasant Movement and the National Revolution.
