教派矛盾与印度的政治世俗化进程

鉴于印度独立运动过程中教派政治的严重危害,独立后,印度首先确立了世俗主义的政治体制,颁布了世俗宪法,确立了政教分离、宗教平等、信仰自由的政治世俗化原则,推进了政治世俗化的进程.但由于历史上教派政治的影响,在乌尔都语地位、宗教圣地以及克什米尔问题上,印度教和伊斯兰教双方还存在着严重的分歧和冲突,干扰了政治世俗化的总进程.从总体上看,教派矛盾并不意味着宗教战争的爆发或国家的解体,但它却反映了印度政治世俗化进程的曲折性.

A Relationship Between the Process of Secularization and the Contradiction of Hindu vs. Muslim

In consideration of the serious problems caused by communalism during the independent movement,Indian Government set up a secular political system after the independence. As a result, a secular constitution was enacted. The principles of secular politics,such as the separation of politics and religions, the equality of religions, and the freedom of belief,greatly accelerated the process of secularization. Due to the influence of past communalism, there are serious conflicts between Hindu and Muslim on several issues: the status of Urdu, the Holy Land, and Keshmir. These conflicts significantly disturb the process of secularization. In general, the contradictions between Hindu and Muslim do not necessarily lead to the religious war or the collapse of the whole country. They indicate that a complicated situation exists in the process of secularization in India.
