斯宾格勒学说在民国的传播及其影响,虽然有不少先行研究成果,但仍有不少史实有待发掘.本文所披露的王栻、林同济、罗荣渠以及《生死关头》、《马克斯主义在欧洲》等相关资料,多为首次使用.这些新材料可以说明:《西方的没落》对中国学生群体有一定的影响力；民国学界对斯氏著作颇为关注,不仅《西方的没落》,而且其他作品,中国读者也并不陌生；中国学者如宗白华、雷海宗、林同济等人的积极宣扬,使其在民国学界中的西方资源里占有一个醒目的位置.

A Question Re-Posed on the Influence of Spengler in the Republic of China

Although a number of scholars have studied the wide-spread influence of Spengler in the period of the Republic of China,a lot of historical facts remain to be uncovered.The materials discussed in this essay on the works by Wang Shi,Lin Tongji,Luo Rongqu,and works such as’The Hour of Decision’and’Preussent umund Soziailismus’will be used in exploring this topic for the first time.The new materials demonstrate that Spengler’s’The Decline of the West’had raised some influence on Chinese students.The public readers of the Republic of China paid attention to Spengler’s work,not only’The Decline of the West’,but also some of his other works.The attention that Spengler had received from the Chinese academia in the Republic China period,was partly due to the strong recommendation from the contemporary Chinese scholars such as Zong Baihua,Lei Haizong,Lin Tongji,and so on.
