五代十国割据形态的特征及其对统一进程的影响

五代十国与三国、东晋十六国、南北朝相比较,在割据形态上具有显著的特征:一,五代中原王朝的正朔地位。二,十国与中原王朝政治关系的差异性。三,“保境息民”是南方割据政权内政外交政策的主旨。这些割据形态特征对国家统一进程产生了很大的影响。首先,中原王朝的正朔地位,决定了统一事业势必由中原王朝来完成,只是待以时机而已。其次,十国对中原王朝政治关系的差异性以及南方割据政权“保境息民”政策,使得南方各个割据势力之间形成相互制衡的格局,避免南方率先统一而再次形成南北朝对峙局面,从而加速了统一的进程。

The Features of the Separatist Rule of the Ten Kingdoms of The Five Dynasties and its Influence upon the Progress of National Unification

In comparison with the Three Kingdoms,the Six Kingdoms of Dong Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties,the Ten Kingdoms of the Five Dynasties presented the following prominent features in its state of separatist rule: First,the position of the imperial court of the central plains during the Five Dynasties being in the right north;Second,the discrepancy in the political relations between the Ten Kingdoms and the imperial court of the central plains;"protecting the land and bring peace to the people" being the purpose of the internal power and external political relations of the southern separatist regime.These three features exerted great influence upon the progress of the unification of the nation.The first feature offered the right opportunity and decided its irreplaceable role in the cause of unification.While the second and third features helped to form a balance between the southern separatist powers and avoided the possible emergence of a confrontation between the south and north had the northern powers been united in advance.Thus the progress of unification was accelerated.
