Abstract:Since Song and Yuan dynasty, the female facial features in Chinese ancient stories was depictd to be “Blossom" “Willow" and other plants. This means that the embellishments in writing female facial features which act as the joyful in worldly culture have seeped into the stories texts. This kind of “foliaged" trend about female facial features are not only established on the base of the aboriginal verse metaphor thinking, but also sucks up the experience which usually metaphor women with vegetables in the traditional verse and opera. It creates one kind of poetic flavour that takes the metaphor emblem as the distinguishing feature. At the same time, the trait of the “foliaged" imagoes about female facial features in the Chinese ancient stories is “to view" or “to eat". It is truly a mistake comprehension to the female facial features which is made by the male writers in the sexual distinction community in order to satisfy themselves' desire.
