Exploration of Ming Dynasty Military Fort in Hebei

Military fort is a defensive settlement.The formation and development of military fort in Hebei province,is closely related to the development of the local traditional settlements,as well as the promotion and the influences of Yanzhao culture.At the same time,it is also affected by large-scale rehabilitation of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall in promoting and constraints.The text,based on the diagnoses of Ming Dynasty military fort in Hebei,analysed the causes of military fort,discussed its construction process,and focused on summarizing the distribution and characteristic type of military fort.The study of Military Fort settlement is an important part of the history of rural settlement and history of Chinese architecture.
