This article will underline the close correlation between accelerated economic growth and rapidly developing industries(RDI),regarding the cause for the slowdown of economic growth in recent years as the"breach or gap in transforma tion";analyze the structure and mechanism in which RDI drive the whole economic growth,and the consequences of and reasons for RDI's"dejectedness"and failure"to stand up";demonstrate the structural changes in the motive force of China's economic growth in the recent period;and point out that we should speed up direction-orientating reforms and policy adjustˉment,and let RDI play a more important role.
