| Abstract: | Starting from the writing styles of Wang Wei and Men Hao-ran,two famous pastoral poets in the Tang Dynasty,this thesis explores the idyllic style existing in their poems--the beauty of peace and serenity.Then it further analyses their differences from various aspects of their poems such as theme,mood,artistic conception,way of expression and diction. |
