语言作为符码与文学创作对于语言的编码及超码

语言未经使用时只是作为语言的素材总体而存在,是语言现象的代码,作家进行创作时已经是对语言的具体运用,是对语言所作的编码或超码。在编码和超码中,作家或是根据已有事物的名称,用现成的语汇进行“记录”、“刻写”、“描摹”;或是把两个已知的并列、对立、从属、递进的名称连接起来,赋予全新的意义;或是移植相关的术语并根据需要进行必要的改造。在编码或超码中,作家特别注意把内心深处的丰富、饱满而又氤氲的原生状态的东西形诸语言。与此同时,还注意从语言之外,从语言本身,且并不局限于语言以克服编码和超码过程中的言意矛盾。

Language as Code and Language Encoding and Hyper - coding in Literary Writing

Language exists only as common building materials when in no use and in this case it is a code of linguistic phenomenon. But as soon as a writer produces his work, language is in its concrete and practical use and the writer is doing a work of language encoding or hyper - coding. In the process of encoding and hyper - coding the writer sometimes employs available lexicon to "record", "portray" and "depict" according to the existing names of things and sometimes he puts together two known coordinating, contrasting, subordinating or progressing names and give them totally new meaning and sometimes he transplants relevant terminology and makes a necessary change of it according to the need. In the process of encoding and hyper - coding the writer gives a special attention to the linguistic representation of the richness, substantiality and thickness of the natural state of the inner heart. And meanwhile, he also pays attention to both locutionary and illocutionary aspects of language so as to avoid the locu-tionary contradictions in the process of encoding and hyper - coding.
