《白鲸》：人与自然关系的悲剧性预言

跨入工业时代以来,人与大自然、人与人之间的关系就不再是和谐、平等,而升级为无限制的掠夺、仇恨和歧视,致使人类陷入全球性的生态危机。针对这一点,梅尔维尔早在1851年出版的《白鲸》中就以一个悲剧性的预言对人类的行为提出了警示。在小说中,作者从三个方面对人与自然的关系展开思考,并以人与自然同归于尽的结局警醒世人:仇恨自然的结果必然是无可挽回的悲剧。

Moby Dick: A Tragic Prediction Between Human and Nature

Since the industry age,the relationship between human and nature and that of human themselves have changed from harmony and equality to unlimited plunder,hatred and discrimination.People then sank into global ecological crisis.Melville presented his warning in his Moby Dick,a tragic prediction,published in 1851.In this novel,the author considered the relationship between human and nature in three aspects and warned people by using an end of the ruin of both human and nature.The hatred to nature leads to inevitable tragedy.
