南海，南海!译名之痛!

“China Sea”作为南海的译名早已约定俗成，彰显的是国家主权尊严，而由“China Sea”到“South China Sea”再到“南中国海”则意味着话语权的丧失，也显露了相关国家的险恶用心。南海诸岛译名的混乱，使得国家主权尊严严重受损，地方渔民文化消逝殆尽，也使得译者困惑而无所适从，因此，政府理应及时、科学地再次审定南海所有岛礁的标准名称，并提供统一的对照英文名。

On Grief for the Translated Terms of China Sea Islands

＂China Sea＂ as a naming term has been conventionally established as the English equivalent of ＂Ndn Hai＂, which demonstrates China＇ s sovereignty and dignity. However, the change from ＂China Sea＂ to ＂South China Sea＂ and ＂South China Sea＂ （ literally ＂Southern China Sea＂ ） implies the loss of the discourse power while uncovering the black-hearted intensions of relevant countries. The confusingly translated terms of China Sea Islands have damaged China＇ s sovereignty and dignity, making the local fishermen culture nearly extinctive while throwing the translators into confusion and loss. Therefore, the government should re-examine and approve the standardized names of all China Seas Islands promptly and scientifically, and unify their English equivalents at the same time.
