摘    要:本文以丰富的潮剧舞台表演实例,探讨了潮剧舞台表演重视与观众交流,“和不承认存在第四道墙”的“梅氏体系”的美学特征,以及舞台表演艺术的程式化与技巧性的美学原则,力求从美学角度来透视潮剧舞台表演的特质。

Abstract:This paper views the characteristic features of Chaozhou operastagecraft from esthetic angle by citing ample instances of theatrical perfor mance to investigate into the esthetic feature of its laying emphasis on ex change with the audience in defiance of "tile fourth wall" which in Mr MeiLanfang's theory is deemed to be nonexistant, and into the esthetic principle ofstylization and artistry of its stagecraft.
