Opportunities,Challenges and National Strategy for China

The shift of global strategic focus to the East and the overall adjustment of Asian-Pacific area brings about both strategic opportunities and challenges. In this situation, outwardly, it is necessary to take an active part in the world mil- itary reform and prepare well for the military struggles, and to actively develop the bilateral and multilateral business so as to form our own commercial strategic zone ; meanwhile, we are to remain partner and good neighbour of the neighbouring coun- tries so as to attain win-win situation and safeguard our national core interest. Inwardly, we are to promote the building of our working style, solve the relevant problems in this regard, and above all, establish our trust and confidence.
