| Abstract: | Through calculation and investigation of the theses on English teaching published in the seven Chinese core periodicals on foreign languages during 1993-1998, the writer counts up the proportion of articles of this kind in the National Press Index, observes the distribution of articles of this kind over six topics, and analyzes the changes in the research of English teaching and the trend of research. |
