| 摘 要： | 借助韩礼德的人际功能学说,对美国女作家凯特·肖邦的小说<觉醒>中主人公埃德娜与情人罗伯特之间的关系变化过程进行解析.通过对埃德娜觉醒前后与罗伯特的人际功能分析,指出,人际分析能成功地阐释人物间关系的变化过程,并为小说的美学与文学意义提供并赋予更深的内涵.

| Abstract: | This thesis makes an analysis of the changing relation between Edna,the heroine of The Awakening,and her lover,Robert,from the perspective of M.A.K Halliday's interpersonal function.Taking a close examination of linguistic features before and after her awakening,the study demonstrates that Halliday's interpersonal function can function as a useful tool in revealing changing process of relation between characters.The study also concludes that interpersonal analysis effectively sheds fresh insight into the ae... |
