| 摘 要： | 以色列医学整容专家莫瑞斯·托帕兹博士在2008年汶川地震后亲赴灾区，使用先进的“负压创伤治疗技术”开展创伤治疗，令许多伤者免除了不必要的截肢、缩短了疗程、大量减少了抗生素的应用。他认为，授人以鱼不如授人以渔，中国的医生应该从西方医生所犯的错误中吸取教训。

| Abstract: | Dr. Moris Topaz, an expert in aesthetic plastic surgery in Israel, traveled to Sichuan after the earthquake in May of 2008 to provide help in person. His negative pressure treatment avoided unnecessary amputation, with shorter periods of treatment and less reliance on antibiotics. Dr. Topaz emphasizes the role of an expert as a teacher, not someone who does all the work by himself or herself. He feels that Chinese doctors could learn to avoid many of the mistakes made in the west. |
