从新教传教士的译诗看新诗形式的发端

近代来华的西方传教士在运用汉语翻译基督教诗歌上,已经做过大量的运用白话翻译新诗的尝试。他们的译诗,是汉诗欧化的最早尝试。我们从这方面的翻译中,可以看到汉诗一步步走向欧化的过程,以及中国诗同外国诗之间的融合,从而形成汉诗新的特点。这种努力到五四之后,成为新诗发展的重要方向。
