| 摘 要： | 《续文献通考》和《稗史汇编》是王圻纂著中最为重要的两部巨制,成书时间相距仅五年。从成书过程讲,两书存在共生关系;自撰述体例言,两书多有相通之处。但《稗史汇编》还是表现出较为鲜明的学术个性。在该书编纂过程中,王圻借用典制通史和综合性类书之体例,尝试构建稗编通史之体制,以与正史系统同备大观,实践其史、稗一体的思想。《稗史汇编》有意张扬小说资料的审美特性,明确肯定通俗小说的文学价值,客观上有助于促进时人小说观念的转变,提高小说的文化地位。
